Review of Don Juan DeMarco (1994) by Julia D — 31 Jul 2008
There is great tragedy at the end when Don Juan accepts the truth of his situation as a typical lost young man - and we see the emergence of mundane reality over the exquisite and romantic fantasy he once created.
The scene where he speaks of "great love" compares with the most passionate poetry ever written. Of course, lets not count out the obvious, its Johnny Depp speaking those words, with a Castillian accent.
What person could be immune to his charms??
