Review of Don Juan DeMarco (1994) by Matt D — 17 Sep 2008
Enjoyable, charming and humorour tale which suffers from Jeremy Leven's weak direction in his helming debut. Johnny Depp plays on his looks and quirky charm to make the title character entertaining, and is clearly enjoying working with Marlon Brando, one of his idols - although Brando's magic had somewhat deserted him by this point.
Entertaining, but far from great.
