Review of Don Jon (2013) by Esteban G — 15 Feb 2014
Gordon-Levitt made a big risk to cast himself for the main character, cause when you are acting you can not see your performance and get direction from any director. The characters are well established and the character progression made nicely with repeating same location and action but different plot each time.
The movie reminded me of an advice that it should be a difference between a guy who's 20 years old and the one who's 30, when you are young you just hang around but when you get older, you have to change cause you must know more and experience and learned things and you must changed for better person.
Overall it's an entertaining movie and successful for telling the story clearly and creating the characters and the connection between them.
