I imagine the only reason this doesnt have better reviews is that women watched it. It sums up men's thinking better than any movie I've seen in a very long time. I love the unspoken reference that the lead man in a romance film for women is as unrealistic as the lead woman in a porn film for men.
JGL didn't belittle the audience by having his character say it. Just left it hanging there at the end of the conversation with Scarlett Js character.
