Do 2 is an interesting piece as it left me with mixed feelings and I still dont know really what to think of it. Lets tal about the positive parts. Well for starters the action was highly well orchestrated and looked big and impressive. But at some times looked too orchestrated. I know bollywood is mainly song and dance but I felt the action was too much like song and dance, and always looked staged and sometimes very unrealistic. You may say that was the point but it was trying to feel real at some moments. But oh well. More good stuff though was Shahrukh Khan as DOne. Don was one badass character. True I never saw the first film but this character made me more interested.

But other problems with this film is like I said about the orchestratio was the song and dance. This film didnt neeed any, and for the most of it it didnt. Which wa s a pleasent surprise but for some reason there is a random song/dance number. And I wouldnt mind it as much if there was consistant dance numbers yet that wa sthe only one feeling highly out of place and it felt really awkward and strange.

But oh well the film is highly entertaining and is definatly worth your money, BUT ONLY IN 2D! I saw the 3d presentation and guess what? IT WAS POINTLESS. Farhan Akhtar originally filmed it in 2d but because of the success of other 3d films, he thought it would be more attractive in the format so he decided to convert it into 3d and let me tell you it adds nothing. Other eviewers on the sight seem to like the 3d effect but I dont know why? Because of the fast paced direction in the action scenes makes the 3d painful and nausiating to watch. And yes two gimicy buts are added in but they dnt do anything. ANyway the 3d conversion just makes t look pushed in and flatter then 2d and you should stick with seeing it in the original way it was made. Anyway overall don 2 is a fun action movie which should entertain bollywood fans and action fans alike.
