I think that "Don 2" is more self-aware than its predecessor, and that's why it is slightly more watchable. It is far from a great movie, but it had enough entertaining moments that I was fine with sitting through it one time.
However, like its predecessor, the story is ludicrous and the movie again gives us no reason to care about anything or anyone. The bottom line is that this movie works best when it isn't trying to take itself too seriously, because in the moments that it does, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
There are better action movies and there are certainly better heist movies out there. .
