Review of Domino (2005) by Roxanne R — 24 Jan 2009

Wow I can't believe I forgot to review this movie that I saw a few years ago! Domino was the daughter of very wealthy folks but she despised being a "society lady" so after multiple at making something of her life she stumbled upon a job seminar about bounty hunters.

..and what do u know...she decided to give it a try with great results! She was the female version of Dog- Bounty Hunter. The movie was exhilarating to watch. Domino Harvey was an intriguing character, the kind of bad-ass hard-core woman.

Just looking at a few minutes of Domino hammers home the point that it is the product of a pair of truly creative people. It's not the most engaging story or the most cohesive film, but it is a kinetic effort that must be recognized as an exciting cinematic experience that wrings every bit of energy from its ingredients, including an iconic performance by Knightley.

This movie is based on a TRUE story...yes there was a real Domino Harvey and she was great! Two thumbs up for this action film!
