Review of Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (2005) by Curtis M — 21 Feb 2006
Now this should have been the version that was released in theaters. Warner Bros really screwed the pooch with this one. And I like Exorcist: the Beginning just as much as this one. But for continuity's sake, I'd have to give this one the edge.
It's more true to Father Merrin and the Original Exorcist: more philosophical debate instead of a full-blown effects film. (even though the effects in both versions suck: the hyenas in particular.
).
