Review of Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (2005) by Gordon/The Mad Artist — 07 Dec 2008
I really love both versions of the Exorcist prequel. While they both feature the same basic plot elements, Satan found buried in British portion of Africa and Father Merrin forced to rediscover his faith after his experiences with the Nazies, etc.
, the films have a different tone and yet both feature there own scenes of the horrific and fantastic. I think it is well worth watching both versions--this is the first one by the way, which was later completely reshot to become The Exorcist: The Beginning, the film that was released in theatres.
