Review of Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (2005) by Matthew L — 27 Dec 2010

There are some interesting ideas trying to come through in this film but they are drastically under-served by a script that can't live up to its lofty ideas. The pace is desperately slow, another draw back of an underwritten script that wants to build the tension before the big finally.

Another element that detracts from the film is the poor quality of the special effects, no doubt down to a reluctant Morgan Creek, the production company, finally releasing the film after much pressure from both Schrader, and fans of the series who wanted to see this 'lost' film.
