Review of Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (2005) by Mark N — 17 Apr 2012
Neither of the back-to-back made versions of The Exorcist prequel script by Blatty are even slightly impressive or memorable. The strange tale of a film so unmarketable it was remade instead of released (and when the new version "Exorcist: The Beginning" failed they released this version).
While Heretic, the sequel movie, was an arty mess these two movies are utterly unremarkable and entirely forgettable. No standout sequences or even moments. No nods or connections to the classic movie to curry favour, just one long pile of forgettable beige.
