Review of Domestic Disturbance (2001) by Lady D — 23 Oct 2009
Domestic Disturbance was a little bit predictable, but I really loved this movie. I do not know why many people hated it. It was one of the best thrillers that I have ever seen. I loved John Travolta in this movie. He did great but I do not think many people think that because I think he was nominated for a Razzie for worst actor but I thought he did great. He is one of my favorite actors and I have never seen John Travolta in a thriller so I was really excited about watching this and boy did it entertain me. It is about Frank Morrison (John Travolta) and he divorces his wife (Teri Polo) and she leaves with their child Danny (Matt O' Leary) and later she marrys another man named Rick Barnes (Vince Vaughn) and at the wedding John Travolta is a little suspicious about the way he is talking to a man at the wedding (Steve Buscemi) and the child Danny does not really like his new father, so he tells his dad everything but John Travolta was not completely suspicious just yet so Danny hides in his step dad's truck and he is with Steve Buscemi and Vince Vaughn stabs him in the back and he burns him in a sewer and he tells his dad and people are not beliving him so then that is when John Travolta is coming on his kid's side. He finds out that his name is not the name that they think it is and then the mom is pregenat and so then it just spials down to hell from there. He is really a mass murderer with Steve Buscemi. So then Vince Vauhgn trys to kill John Travolta in a boat house and VInce burns up the boat house and John barely gets out. That is when the stuff really begins. So John Travolta is trying to get to his ex wife and kid in time. It is very eerie, great, suspensful and thrilling. The only bad thing to me is Vince Vaughn, that is it. But this is a great film.
8 STARS!!!!!
