Yeah yeah, it seemed all fun, but it wasn't. It was quite run of the mill. If not for Jude Law and his work/effort, I'd have switched this one off. The story was passe to say the least. The script was average and banal.
It didn't have an emotional connect with the characters and everything seemed under developed. A good, hardworking amateur trying to play with the big boys, much like the character itself, is eventually going to get burnt and with film, reel is high inflammable.
