This movie is appropriate for ages 7 to 13. My friend who is fascinated by dolphins insisted on going. I actually took out my phone to see how much time was left. For the age group above it is a fun movie but I can think of a several.

other shows that are better adult viewing. (The Hundred Foot Journey, Guardians of The Galaxy) The acting was fair, the theme of a 14 year old, bike riding kid bossing a bunch of 18 year old and above adults unlikely and the semi romance contrived. Best part of the movie was the ending where there was real footage of returning soldiers with amputations and children born without limbs playing with the dolphin, featured in the story.
