Review of Dolores Claiborne (1995) by Anne F — 22 Oct 2010
It's not a very typical Steven King story, wihout supernatural influences and actually a pretty decent adaption of the novel.
It's very slow-paced but still grips your attention. A sad, very reality-based story about a daughter that comes home for her mothers murdertrial. Filled with hidden agendas and family secrets. memories that has been repressed surface again.
Very strong acting from both Bates and Jason. That makes the movie's slow pace endurable.
