Review of Dolores Claiborne (1995) by Braden A — 12 Aug 2004
A pretty good film. Kathy Bates steals the show as the title character. Some wonderful photography, and really great effects mimicking a solar eclipse.
Christopher Plummer, once again, proves that he is one of the best actors to come out of Canada, and probably just one of the best of all time.
Some of the story seemed a little strange, like the fact that the daughter didn't remember ANYTHING from growing up. But overall it was a good movie with strong performances and a very tense story.
