Review of Dolly Dearest (1991) by Jmmt 0 — 30 Mar 2008
Decent killer doll movie about a family that moves to Mexico so the husband can start a doll factory. Little do they know, an ancient demon was awakened and it just so happens to possess the very doll that the father/husband just so happens to give his daughter.
After that, the daughter starts acting a bit weird and there you have your movie. It's not really a bad movie save for the unintentionally funny parts. Crosby (who will forever be remembered as the mother in the fist Pet Semetary film) and Torn give some pretty good performances, and the doll effects weren't too bad either.
