Review of Dogville (2003) by Louis F — 23 Jul 2008
Brilliant, fearless film making.
Beautiful and poignant. Cuts to the very heart of America and more than that, human beings in general.
An once in a lifetime ensemble cast who each turn in performance that must be seen to be believed.
A film experience like no other.
A philosophical study of stoicism and capitalism and the myth of small town America.
One of the few films I've seen in my life where I sat through the entire closing credits with a big fucking grin on my face.
This is film done right, this is new, different, honest and original.
