Review of Dogville (2003) by Heather M — 22 Oct 2014
It's what you'd expect from Von Trier, punishing, deliberately paced and mostly misanthropic. Though Dogville may lose audience attention due to an extremely unconventional setup and formidable length, there is a lot of gold here and the ending alone renders this film worth a recommendation.
