Review of Dogville (2003) by Paul M — 26 Apr 2011
'Dogville' is one of the best, if not the best, motion picture that has ever been made. Thanks to it's theatrical, minimalistic aesthetics one can focus on the storyline and engage imagination a bit more.
Picture itself, evolves around its sociopsychological core, exposing the spectator to uneasy and sometimes deeply disturbing issues and acts.
It's not the first time von Tier has evoked some thoughts and emotions in me, but if you want to spend almost three hours watching something enriching and thought provoking, I order you to watch 'Dogville'!
