Review of Dogville (2003) by Andrew B — 30 Nov 2015
It is very long, but stylistically original and pitiless (as one comes to expect from von Trier) in its account that concludes that the failures of human nature or by being the product of one's environment never excuses moral failings.
Notable for having an amazing cast forced into these allegorical figures that seems an almost sadistic limiting of talent.
