Review of Dogville (2003) by Alvin M — 21 Apr 2009
Filmed entirely in a studio with a very simple set using a narrator to help describing the story. It doesn't even have a building props, they only draw lines on the stage floor with chalk to picture buildings and doors.
It is a very very good movie that shows us that people not only can be mean, but every person really capable to be evil and that people can drive someone nice to commit evil deeds. It is not a dark suspenseful thriller or something like that, it is a quiet drama but very interesting for me.
Not everybody's cup of tea, mind you...
