Review of Dogville (2003) by Craig T — 16 Jan 2010
A challenging, provocative film for which unabashed love or hatred would be evidence of tunnel-vision. It is stylistically interesting and raises many complex, fascinating questions about American Christianity.
It is also alienating and alternately transparent and impenetrable. Thus, it is an extremely worthy film, but not always a good one.
