Review of Dogville (2003) by Linnea H — 08 Mar 2009
Although being extremely simple and minimalist in stage settings, the charm of this kind of film, especially Dogville, is actually quite absorbing and terribly, or in a weird way, eloquent and expressive.
Overall, it has a sound structure as well as a fine cast. It is long but never boring. The ending, however, is mysterious and perhaps unfulfilling.
