A surreal, disturbing and challanging film. Unlike usual disturbed-torture porn films that display acts of human debasement on a highly detestable and sickening level in order to scissor-stab home a cautious message about the world, Dogtooth avoids using repulsion as a shock-and-awe device.
It challanges you into understanding the potential mudanity of actual depravation.
