This film is absolutely batshit nuts. The less you know about this film going in, the better. This look at the unique world of a small Greek family is incredibly disturbing, funny, and transgressive (to put it kindly).
The framing is absolutely fantastic and at times you feel you are watching a series of stunning photographs onscreen a la La Jetee. At other times you will feel as if someone punched you hard in the stomach.
Only one thing is for sure: you will never watch Flashdance, Rocky or Jaws the same way again.
