Inventive, remarkable, very disturbing, and woven together in such a way that you first feel frustrated, then repulsed, then sympathetic, horrified and amazed. I saw this amidst a bunch of elderly Academy voters who very vocally hated itâ"but a visceral response to this film seems to be a large part of its M.
O. I absolutely loved it.
