Review of Dogtooth (2009) by Chairun C — 25 Apr 2011
A bold and edgy Greek film about quite an interesting family, one that will definitely make you shake your head several times. I found some scenes rather disturbing in the sense that my repressed memories were being attacked.
Overall, whether or not you like this film, you will think of it many times over the course of your life, when you face some rite of passage, or decide to paint your parents into twisted characters. I can never look at a plane crossing the sky again the same way either! I might drop it to 85%, but that's still a very high RT rating.
