Review of Dogtooth (2009) by Vinci C — 26 Dec 2012
I come from Greece and I have been watching modern greek cinema for quite a time. I was so dissapointed with the so called ''artists'' that were directing those terrible movies. I had lost my faith in greek cinema when this movie came out.
When I watched this, I couldn't believe this was a movie my country had made! It's a masterpiece. George Lanthimos is the best greek director -if not of all time- working today. Must see but you have to be prepared for what you are going to see.
It's a disturbing but not in Salo way. It's way better because of its amazing script, filled with black humour. A satire of the society today.
