It's a cheap little movie, but it's also surprising. Instead of being a typical run-of-the-mill low budget monster movie, it's a intriguing creature-mystery movie that does get a little suspenseful at times.
However, it completely blows the boat by dragging on key clues (like the camera in the woods) plus the ending draws hardly any resolution, making you feel cheated. Dogman could have actually been a more decent film, but sadly it comes off seemingly unending.
