It's comedy is highly low-grade, but it's ideals and opinions are top notch. This is how comedy films should be these days, not just stoner crap. Dogma's cast is simply incredible with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Alan Rickman, Chris Rock, the wonderful Alanis Morissette, Jason Lee (My Name Is Earl), and let's not forget Jay and Silent Bob! It is easily the greatest cast ever assembled, and they came together to answer all of our religious questions both comically and seriously.
