Review of Dogma (1999) by Gianluca B — 09 Mar 2011
This movie is surprisingly interesting. It is an incredibly tight mix of what Kevin Smith is best capable of in a movie : craziness, rock-solid acting, depth, strong storyline, and social commentary. Every member of the cast is the best man/woman for the job.
In general, this movie succeeds where Chasing Amy failed, because the dialogue happens when it should, without sounding artificially dumped for some sensitivity training.
