God needs his last descendant's help, who is an average, deluded woman with failed relationship and miserable life, in order to stop two rogue Angels (Matt Damon, Ben Affleck) from entering heaven.
Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith), low esteemed, sex-addicted junkies from Clerks movie accompany the woman in accomplishing the God's mission. A boat load of Catholicism and Holy Bible references in a comical way.
