Dogma returns to Kevin Smith's signature silly style with a great big bang. With a fantastic cast and of course Jay and Silent Bob, it proves that Smith can handle all kinds of themes and genres, from 1997's Chasing Amy's serious situations about sexuality and friendship to two angels trying to get back into heaven and the last descendant of Jesus chasing them.

It's great to see Jay and Silent bob back as main characters, as they are easily the favourite of this movie, but the rest of the cast is just as hilarious and very well casted. With a bigger budget than previous Smith films, Dogma takes a step away from the other outings of this series, as it's more fantasy and not as much a sit-at-a-bar-and-talk-about-sex movie, which isn't a bad thing, just, new, and odd to see Jay and Silent Bob there, though you get comfortable with it easily.
