Review of Dog Soldiers (2002) by Sean J — 30 Jun 2008
I have to preface this rating by saying I have been obsessed with werewolf movies since I was a small child. That being said, this movie fucking ROCKED! The premise would have failed miserably had it not been for the incredible casting. The story is even more realistic due in part to the disbelief of the characters, even when under attack (who cannot seem to wrap their heads around the concept of werewolves actually existing). The werewolves were cool-enough looking, and there were buckets of blood piled on top for good measure (and a few intestines along the way). This movie goes down in history as a cult hit. Some will love it, some will hate it. But hell, give it a try and see for yourself!
