This is a very good horror film. Probably one of the more underrated horror movie of its decade. Shot on a miniscule budget with a no name director and cast, now famous helmer Neil Marshall manages to craft one of the best werewolf movies ever produced.
For the budget given, the creatures are pulled off very well. The acting is genuine, and the script is pretty solid. It is unflinching in its realistic depiction of blood and gore, and keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first scene.
It is one of the few films which makes for uneasy watching, even after you've already seen it and know whats coming, and I think that says alot about a horror movie.
