Review of Dog Soldiers (2002) by Ross B — 01 Apr 2013
A brilliant horror/comedy. Hilarious as well as scary. Sean Pertwee is perfectly cast as the leader of the unfortunate platoon of soldiers. Kevin Mckidd and Liam Cunningham are also very good. This is Neil Marshall's first and most memorable film mainly due to the extremely funny dialogue and excessive gore.
The performances from the small cast, particularly the platoon are great and believable. The soundtrack is brilliant also.
