Wow, this was fun. Sean Pertwee and Kevin McKidd own this movie with genre-perfect performances as men of actions up against werewolves in the Scottish countryside. Neil Marshall's direction make the best of the B-movie budget with emphasis on character and tantalizing glimpses of the werewolves.
The design of the creatures is quite impressive, taking a nod from the Predators with an emphasis on height and stature. The film keeps racking up the tension and the story provides quite a few surprises.
