Review of Dog Soldiers (2002) by Annie B — 31 Jan 2009

Surface value - this film is a good giggle, something you can pop on and not have to be too serious about to enjoy it. The pacing in this movie is fantastic, the special effects are tacky but wonderfully so, definately a throwback to the Evil Dead series.

Character portrayal is excellent, real human qualities shine through in light of the circumstances. Werewolves are slighty naff but several shades better than the awful interpretations the Underworld series has to offer, at least these guys look the part!
