Review of Dog Soldiers (2002) by Lucy G — 23 Jun 2013
I have always tired of seeing werewolf films where the wolves are so bulked up they look like they're on steroids. This film cleverly ditches the CGI and replaces it with lean, man-like looking monsters who add a more sinister effect to the movie.
The horror, though horrifically gruesome, is well panned out to prevent it from being ridiculously over the top and unwatchable. But the best part about this film was that it had a meaning to it; the idea of belonging and choosing a side, rather than the whole thing being just a mindless werewolf massacre.
