Review of Dog Days (2018) by Jon C — 09 Aug 2018
It's harmless enough and feels more like TV quality but all dog lovers should enjoy themselves.
Another one of those films revolved around a group of individuals each with their own stories.
All their pets are included too.
Vanessa Hudgens and Nina Dobrev are the best standouts with one being a TV host going through a breakup and having to work with a partner and another being a barista hoping to do something that matters.
Honestly these other side characters which couldve been dispensed with altogether, some of them just arent interesting.
There's even a moment asking why we bring these animals into our lives; a lot of them have been through rough patches, some longer than others, in truth they help bring all of us closer and to open our eyes.
It's not just the dogs that need tender love and care, it's us as people as well.
Dogs are still the best companions for the good times and the hard ones.
A good 'dog day' is what many of us need.
