Behind Al Pacino's great performance and the amazingly true story of an actual attempted bank robbery, Dog Day Afternoon was rightfully praised as one of the best films of 1975 (my favorite aside from "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest") and it's still great over 35 years later.
