Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Jason R — 22 Apr 2011
One of those perfect blends of comedy, drama, and crime. It still holds up well and the acting is top notch (even by the minor supporting characters who help make the movie what it is). The style of the film and the shooting is very low key but because of it, the movie has a very natural, real feel, and the script is strong enough to get you to go from laughs to sadness in a few short minutes.
