Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Jonathan B — 23 Mar 2012
First rate story telling in this movie, the third that Al Pacino and John Cazale made together (Godfather, Godfather Part II). As the plot unfolds, characters becomes more defined and more faceted. The unexpected twists and turns, and the over-riding dread that nothing will end well for characters you've come to care about, makes this a treasure of a movie.
