Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Pegah P — 07 Aug 2012
The way Dog Day starts right off the bat left me wondering what could possibly happen throughout the rest of film that's interesting enough to successfully carry off the plot. It seemed like it was gonna drag, but it didn't.
The acting (lead and supporting, both) and the screenplay are awesome, and I never found myself wondering if it was the end yet. I did kind of wish it ended with a bit more impact, but it really was a very realistic, well thought out piece.
Al Pacino never disappoints.
