I can't believe I never watched this film sooner...it is an absolute classic and definitley one of the best movies Pacino has starred in. He delivers an outstanding performance, one of his finest, and is surrounded by a remarkable supporting cast.
..Cazale; Sarandon and Allan especially. The direction is beautifully controlled, the editing is sharp and the lack of a score is genius.
