Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Robert M — 27 Jan 2017
Works very well on two levels. One, as a botched bank heist, and two, as a in-depth character drama. While there is tension throughout, Lument does a good job at giving effective doses of comedic relief.
Al Pachino is one of our greatest actors and here is no exception. You can really see it in his eyes. Very good all around.
