Review of DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story (2004) by Nathan T — 24 Nov 2012

Dodgeball is one of the funniest films I've ever seen. The writing and timing of both the spoken punchlines and physical schadenfreude keep the laughs coming at a constant rate. Performances are very funny all around as well.

Vince Vaughn has enough charm to keep you interested, but Alan Tudyk, Rip Torn and, above all else, Ben Stiller get the most laughs out of me. There's a also a few celebrity cameos that get big laughs, including David Hasslehoff and William Shatner.

It's just a shame that there are exactly zero surprises throughout.
