Review of Doctor Zhivago (1965) by Brian S — 25 Apr 2008
A very strong film that never lost my interest. intriguing characters, believably dramatic plot with captivating personal and historical context. certain aspects of the cinematography struck me as abrupt and amateurish, but it didn't subtract too much from the movie's overall quality.
my one complaint about this movie is Yuri and Lara's romance (the most fundamental but also the most unappealing story element).
