Mystery-horror with tongue-in-cheek comedy elements has the merit of being the first colour horror film and the first modern set talking horror film. It tells of the investigation by a journalist of the moonlight murders whereby victims are killed and cannbalised by the full moon.
Lionel Atwill, in one of his first major screen roles dominates.
